Free-to-take outdoor clothing for winter

Rays

Spending time outdoors is really good for our physical and mental health, but not everyone can afford clothing which copes with the colder or wetter winter months.

We want everyone to be able to enjoy our parks as the seasons change and not let the weather stop us experiencing nature, playing, or meeting friends.

We’re creating a ‘Welly Bank’ at two of our charity’s cafes at Alexandra Park Café (Poole) and Redhill Park Café (Bournemouth). Our Welly Banks will offer free-to-take wet weather clothing like waterproofs and wellies to help members of our local community enjoy the outdoors in all weathers.

Can you help us?

We’re looking for donations of good quality, unwanted or preloved cold/ wet weather outer wear, for all ages and sizes, such as:

  • wellies, snow boots, walking boots
  • waterproofs (separates or all-in-ones)
  • rainproof jackets, coats

Please drop off any good quality clothing to either Alexandra Park Café or Redhill Park Café during opening hours.

We really appreciate your help so everyone can enjoy our parks – all year round.

For more information about our cafes, including locations and opening hours, visit our cafes webpage.

Please do not leave items unattended if our cafes are closed.
