Spring seeds, bugs, and bees
Join us for nature activities across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole as we step into spring.
Insects are emerging, and you can help get our parks and your own outdoor space ready to welcome them. Make bee homes and bug hotels, sow vegetable and wildflower seeds, and join us on our first butterfly walks of the year.
If you’re feeling creative, come along to our clay craft sessions at Kingfisher Barn Visitor Centre on the Stour Valley Nature Reserve in Bournemouth with different themes to celebrate the new life of the season.
And our GreenFingers gardening groups will be busy as ever, taking care of local parks and community food growing spaces.
New to gardening? That’s no problem – there are tasks to suit new and experienced gardeners alike, and we’ll learn from each other as we go.

Earth Raise: Save the Date
We’re delighted to announce we will be part of the amazing Big Give Earth Raise campaign again this year – a special week when donations to environmental charities are doubled by the Big Give organisation.
Donations made to us via the Big Give website during the week of 22-29 April will be doubled – at no extra cost to you or our charity. That means you can make double the difference in your local park.
This year, we’re fundraising for our vital pollinators – like bees and butterflies. Your donations will help us plant nectar-rich flowers, create habitats, and run fun activities to raise awareness and inspire changes in your own garden.
If you’d like to donate, save the date: Wednesday 22 – Wednesday 29 April

We need wellies – can you help?
We’re creating a ‘Welly Bank’ at our charity’s café at Redhill Park Café (Bournemouth).
Our Welly Bank will offer free-to-take wet weather clothing like waterproofs and wellies to help members of our local community enjoy the outdoors in all weathers.
We’re looking for donations of good quality, unwanted or preloved cold/ wet weather outer wear, for all ages and sizes – can you help?
