Getting here: You can get to Kingfisher Barn by bus, bike, on foot, or by car. There is a free car park on site at Granby Road, donations are welcome.
Accessibility: There is designated disabled parking in the car park which leads to the Visitor Centre via an accessible footpath. The Visitor Centre is fully accessible, with a disabled toilet facility and baby changing unit.
Dogs: dogs on leads are welcome in the wildlife garden outside the Visitor Centre.
The Visitor Centre is supported by volunteers and serves tea, coffee, cake, and ice cream. All the profits are reinvested into our local parks, so every time you enjoy a brew it will be helping your park too.
You can also enjoy the beautiful wildlife garden where you can discover wildlife habitats, a medicinal plant garden, wildflower meadow and a pond.
Pond dipping: Discover the amazing creatures which live in our ponds at our pond dipping drop-in sessions during the spring and summer months.
Sundays, between 10.30am – 3.30pm
