UPDATE: Alexandra Park Café is temporarily closed until the end of March, while our charity carries out additional essential improvement works to the building and surrounding area. These works will further improve access for all, including the steps, handrails, and path.
We will also be installing a Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS) to collect rainwater from the café roof and new tool shed, which can then be used on the raised beds and fruit trees in the community food growing space.
The Alexandra Park GreenFingers volunteer gardening group held outdoors in the park will run throughout, held weekly on Thursdays from 10am – 12pm. To find upcoming sessions, visit our Events page.
The café can still be booked for private events, meetings, and celebrations. For all enquiries, please contact Emma on: emma@parksfoundation.org.uk
We really appreciate your continued support of our charity and community café, we look forward to welcoming you back soon.
Toilets: There are male/female toilets with Braille signage on the doors and a disabled toilet.
Volunteers needed
We are always looking for volunteers to help out in our cafés. Full training will be provided and flexible hours are available – you don’t have to commit to regular shifts.
If you’re able to support your local park, pop in for a chat, look at our current volunteer roles or contact us on:
