Alexandra Park Café

Come along and enjoy a brew knowing you'll be helping your park too

Rays Group 2

Opening times:

Our café is now closed for the winter. We’ll reopen in April 2025.

The café can still be booked for private events, meetings, and celebrations. For all enquiries, please contact: info@parksfoundation.org.uk

Tel: 01202 143724

Address: Alexandra Park, Alexandra Road, BH14 9EL

Our café is dog friendly: dogs on leads are welcome.

Accessibility: Unfortunately, there currently isn’t an accessible entrance into our café in Alexandra Park. Accessibility for all is very important to us and, during the recent refurbishment, plans have been made for this and the inside of the building has been fitted with a new accessible toilet facility so it’s ready for our visitors. We want to ensure there is access into the café building for everyone and, together with BCP Council, we are working towards this, however some further building work is needed in order for this to be achieved. Please keep an eye on this page for updates on when this work is complete.

Outside in front of the café, we have installed wheelchair accessible benches in the outdoor seating space below the steps, which can be accessed via the pathway. We can provide outdoor table service.

Parking: There isn’t parking on site, but there is street parking available close by.

Toilets: There are male/female toilets with Braille signage on the doors and a disabled toilet.

Our café: We serve a variety of great coffee, yummy cakes, ice creams, and snacks. All the profits from the café help our charity continue enhancing parks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole, so every time you enjoy a brew it will be helping your park too.

The café space is available for community groups to use, such as sports groups, knitting groups, chess/board game clubs and local charities. If you’d like to use the space for anything, please get in touch.

Volunteers needed

We are always looking for volunteers to help out in our cafés. Full training will be provided and flexible hours are available – you don’t have to commit to regular shifts.

If you’re able to support your local park, pop in for a chat, look at our current volunteer roles or contact us on:
