Our local park holds special memories for us; going for walks with our partner or friends, learning to ride our bike, walking our dog every day, playing in our sports team. Or we may simply find it a safe and welcoming space to sit and reflect or enjoy the nature around us.

A personalised engraved plaque in one of our Memory Meadows is a long-lasting tribute to your happy memories which you can treasure into the future.

Every plaque purchased supports our work enhancing parks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole for people and wildlife, so we can all continue to make memories in these special places.

Celebrate your family, friends, and pets

Whether you’re celebrating a special anniversary, birthday, or event, or are wanting to find a way to remember a loved one – a family member, friend, or beloved pet – you can purchase an engraved brass plaque with your own personal message. Your plaque will be displayed on one of our new 6-feet tall Memory Meadow flower sculptures which looks striking and provide a lasting way to celebrate the person or occasion.

Choose from a range of brass plaque designs and have the words of your choice engraved on it. Your engraved plaque will then be attached to one of the flower sculptures and displayed within one of (currently) four local parks across the Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch area:  

• Bournemouth = Winton Recreation Ground
• Bournemouth = Redhill Park
• Christchurch = Mudeford Wood
• Poole = Alexandra Park 

As more people buy plaques, so the Memory Meadow grows.

How to order your plaque

Simply fill out this order form, which also contains the important terms and conditions, and email it to us at info@parksfoundation.org.uk.

Then make your donation here. Alternatively, you can make your payment by bank transfer (BACS), or pop the form in the post with a cheque. Full details are on the form.

We have a range of plaques to choose from and two different prices:

• Display plaque for fifteen years = £120
• Display plaque for five years = £65

Donations: If you’d like to make a donation instead of asking for wedding or anniversary gifts, or have collected donations from a funeral collection, you can find how to pay it in here. All monies donated to us are used to further enhance our local parks – for us and for wildlife.
